"You came into our world... I like that."

Cherie and I just returned from Guatemala. It is unbelievable how much we experienced in such a short time. In some ways it felt like it flew by... in other ways it felt like we were there for a month. I will wait until a bit later to share more details of our time there, but for now I had to at least share this...

Tita and Leah introduced us to their friend Rudy. They have been praying for him because he is blind and is left alone in the dark all day. Recently, Rudy's eyesight has been coming back to him. When Tita asked him if he was able to see our faces, he said, "Si". Then he looked at me at at my t-shirt which had the number 5 on it and said, "Cinco". Tita and Leah were amazed and so happy that he was able to see that well.

When we were getting ready to leave, he uttered some of the most memorable words I have ever heard. As he was saying good-bye to us, he said, "You have come into our world... I like that".
