Christmas?
Is it just me or do the Christmas decorations come out earlier every year? I was at a store about three weeks ago and they were setting up the Christmas stuff!
I love the Christmas season, but this is a little crazy.
Today, I was confronted by Christmas in a way that brought me hope. I was on Facebook (you should check it out... and become my "friend") and found a group called "Advent Conspiracy". They are encouraging people to do the following this Christmas:
Worship Christ more meaningfully. Refuse our culture's hunger for consumerism. Give relationally to our friends and family. Love all by giving to those most in need.
I was challenged by this and by the following video I found on their website (let me know how it challenges you):
