I think my Catholic upbringing, and subsequent indoctrination into the evangelical world, combined to give me a skewed understanding of the significance of "The Lord's Prayer" as it is recorded in Matthew 6:9-13. But, the other day I gained a new appreciation for this amazing prayer... and I made a commitment (that I hope I can keep) to pray it daily. My hope is that praying this prayer will give me a sensitivity to recognize the vastness of God, help me to trust him that I (and others) will experience more of his heavenly Kingdom here on earth, lead me to be more conscious of his daily provision (in the "small things", not just the "big things"), and make me more of a forgiving (and thus more forgiven) person.

Miyah's 2nd Birthday
We went to the North Carolina Zoo for Miyah's 2nd Birthday today (Ben & Alex were in school)... then we had cake together tonight! It was a great day!!
